Getting To Departure Gates (10 and 11)
- Assistance vehicles are not available.
- There are not resting/seating areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is available along the route.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.

- The corridor to gates 10 to 17 is to the left as you enter the Departure Lounge, opposite the duty free area.
Gates 10 and 11 are straight ahead at the top of the long ramp.
Departure Gates (10 and 11)
- The departure gate(s) in this area are 10 and 11.
- There is clear signage to the departure gates.
- The height of the documentation check desk is low (76cm - 86cm).
- There is a lowered section of the documentation check desk available at 10 and 11.
- There is a clear knee recess beneath the low section of the documentation check desk at 10 and 11.
- There is ramped/sloped access to 10 and 11.
- There is step free access (via lift) to the aircraft via the tarmac from 10 and 11.
- There is stepped access to the aircraft via the tarmac from 10 and 11.
- There is an Ambulift available.
- The accessibility of the individual aircraft varies depending on the provider. Please contact your airline company prior to booking for more information.
- Lift access is via the Departure Gate 16 and 17 lift with staff assistance.
A member of the special assistance team will provide assistance for passengers with restricted mobility to the aircraft by prior arrangement with the airline.
Entry to the aircraft is either by mobile steps or Ambulift.
Stairs (Gates 10 and 11)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are 0 and 1.
- There are more than 20 steps, which are clearly marked, with handrails on both sides.
- The handrail is easy to grip.
- The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
- The handrails extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
- Steps are split with a resting area.
- The height of the highest step is 18cm.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- The stairs to the exits to the tarmac for both gates are similar.

- There is clear signage to the departure gates.

Toilet with Adaptations (Gates 10 to 17 - Left Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located on level 1 by Gates 10 to 11 and opposite Gate 14.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial, written text and ‘Not All Disabilities Are Visible’ signage on or near the door.
- The door to enter opens outwards and has a high visual contrast with the surrounding walls.

- There are chairs without armrests available in the Ambulift.
- Seats in the vehicle are reconfigured as required by the Special Assistance team members, to allow access to tie-down points for wheelchairs where necessary.
