Access To
- MAL B18 is located on Level B of Birkbeck Malet Street, to the right and ahead as you exit Lift C.

- The most accessible route has a lift, a steep ramp or slope, manual doors and doors permanently held open.
- The slope has a steep gradient.
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide with no handrails.
- The most accessible route to MAL B18 has step-free level access via manual doors, permanently held open doors and a lift (Lift C) but Lift C was out of use at the time of the survey. The most accessible route when Lift C is out of use is step-free level via a lift (Lift A), manual doors and permanently held open doors.
- There is numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into MAL B18.
- There are double manual doors which open towards you.
- One of the doors was locked at the time of the survey.
- The width of the opening is 70cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
