Getting Help and Assistance

- There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- There are mobility aids available.
- The mobility aids available include wheelchairs.
- There is not a designated place of safety which can be used by people with dementia, autism or learning disabilities.
- There is a changing places facility available in the Terminal Building, near the Arrivals Hall.
Introduction
- This guide gives parking information for the 'Drop & Go' and route information from drop off zone to the Terminal Building.
The Drop & Go Car Park is exclusively for express drop off. The car park is designed to enable drivers to “drop and go”, quickly and easily.
Blue Badge holders are entitled to a longer parking time.

A dedicated special assistance help point is located within the walkway, assistance can be booked in advance by contacting one of the dedicated onsite team.
If you are dropping off and will be longer than 10 minutes, it is recommended that you try the Short Stay car park.
Pick up and Drop Off Points (Drop off )
- There is a/are clearly marked pick up point(s) available and There is a/are clearly marked drop off point(s) available.
- The drop-off point(s) is/are located to the rear of the Passenger Transport Interchange.
- The pick up point(s) is/are located to the rear of the Passenger Transport Interchange.
- The route from the drop off point(s) to the check in hall/departure lounge is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance.
- Assistance may be required because there is/are dropped kerbs.
- There is tactile paving on dropped kerbs between the drop off point(s) and the check in hall/departures lounge.
- The route from the arrivals lounge to the pick up point(s) is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance.
- Assistance may be required because there is/are slopes/ramps.
- There is tactile paving on dropped kerbs between the arrivals lounge and the pick up point(s).
- The Blue Badge drop-off and pick up is approximately 13 metres from the Passenger Transport Interchange entrance.
There is one long area for Blue Badge parking.
This parking area can accommodate 5 cars.
There are no hatched markings.
Generic (Drop off )
- From the Drop off & Pick Up Passenger Transport Interchange entrance continue straight ahead past the toilets and M&S store.
Exit the Passenger Transport Interchange via the Terminal exit.
Cross the Passenger Transport Interchange bridge to the terminal.
The terminal will be straight ahead.
The special assistance is via the left terminal entrance.
Generic (Waiting Zone)
- There is a 'Waiting Zone' free-of-charge space for taxis and public that are dropping off and collecting passengers.
This area is located close to the entrance of the Silver Zone car park and is clearly signposted upon entering the Silver Zone area.
/ The Waiting Zone allows up to 1 hour free of charge that may be used for the waiting of passenger pick up, prior to collection from the Short Stay & Pick Up car park.
There is access to a frequent bus service to the Terminal building if passengers do wish to be collected or dropped off in this area.
The Waiting Zone has pedestrian signage to the bus stop location close by.
From the terminal, passengers will be required to use bus stop 4 on the forecourt and board the bus for the Staff Transportation Hub.
