    Peninsula is our oldest site which is located within the world heritage site. Durham University’s oldest building is the Castle which was built in 1080 and is our residential building used by University College. This is situated opposite Durham Cathedral, and Durham University has numerous buildings around vicinity which accommodates the Arts and Humanities faculty, and University Library and Collections. It’s also home to a number of colleges; Hatfield, St John, St Chads and St Cuthbert Society.
