Access To
- The Multi-Faith Room and washing facilities are located on Level 0 of Boldon House in the rear corridor.
- To access the Multi-Faith Room from the main reception foyer, please use the corridor to the left to get to the room, as the room on the right may be occupied.

- The most accessible route has manual doors and step-free level access.
- There is numbered and written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the Multi-Faith Room.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 85cm.
- The door has a high visual contrast.
Room (Multi-Faith Room)
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- Seating available in the room includes: armchairs and chairs without armrests.
- Furniture available in the room includes: coffee tables and tables.
- The surface heights are not suitable for wheelchair users.
- The clear underside space of the surfaces is not suitable for wheelchair users.
- There is a portable hearing assistance system on request.
- The hearing assistance system could not be tested at the time of the survey.

- There are no ambulant toilet facilities available.
- There is a wash basin, a hand dryer and a wall mounted soap dispenser available.
- The wash basin has a push tap.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey, with unshaded light sources.
- Both male and female washrooms have ritual washing facilities and a bench seat.
There are double doors 162cm wide linking the ablution facilities with the Multi-Faith Room. These manual doors open into the room and may be difficult to open.
