- The most accessible route has step-free level access, shiny flooring, a lift and automatic doors.
- There is no signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into WB-2049 Study Space.
- There are no doors to access the Study Space.
Area
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
- The following areas have stepped access: There is a 6cm steps and a manual door with a width of 90cm that opens towards you to access the single study pod.
There is a 10cm steps and a manual door with a width of 90cm that opens towards you to access the shared study pod. There are two alternative doors into the pod. - There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- Seating available in this area includes: high stools, chairs with armrests, chairs without armrests and sofas.
- Furniture available in this area includes: tables, coffee tables and booths.
- Some chairs and tables are fixed.
- Some surface heights are suitable for wheelchair users.
- The clear underside space of some surfaces is suitable for wheelchair users.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise in this area.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
- The colour, design and typeface of signs is consistent throughout.
