- There is no seating available.
- There is a water bowl available for assistance dogs.
- There is not a designated assistance dog spending area.
Area (Site)
- During opening hours, there is no height restriction barrier at the entrance to the site.
During busy periods, there may be a queue of vehicles into the recycling centre.
Light commercial vehicles (under 3500kg) will be accepted if they are carrying your own household waste.
Site staff may stop you at the entrance to ensure the waste you are carrying has come from the household.
There are unloading bays located either side and down the middle of the access road once you have entered the site.
There are zebra crossings to access units on either side of the site.
The site layout is designed in a one-way loop. - Facilities available in this area include: recycling units and waste bins. These are either side of the site access road as you enter.
- The following areas have stepped access: green waste, domestic, timber, plasterboard, cardboard and general waste recycling bins.
Each bin has 10 steps and handrails on both sides. Steps are 15cm high and have depths of 30cm. The steps have open risers. - Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
- The colour, design and typeface of signs is consistent throughout.
- There is a pedestrian walkway located around the edge of the site.
A member of staff can provide assistance with unloading into the skips.
