- Maughan Library is arranged over four main floors in a main building, with a connected wing towards Chancery Lane on the left-hand side, called the Chancery Lane Wing.
The other end of the main building on the right-hand side is referred to as the Fetter Lane end.
There are mezzanine floors to the sides of each of the ground, first and second floors in the main building.
There are also mezzanine floors to the Chancery Lane end of the Chancery Lane Wing on the first and second floors.
The mezzanine floors are signed as GM, 1M and 2M.
The mezzanine floors in the main building do not connect directly with the mezzanine floors in the Chancery Lane Wing.
There is generally step-free level access to the mezzanine floors via various lift combinations.
There is not step-free access to the mezzanine floors within the Chancery Lane Wing.
There is also a Clock Tower with access to rooms located towards the centre of the main building above the second floor.
The Clock Tower floors are signed as T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5.
Clock Tower floors T1 to T4 have step-free access via the main lifts.
There is not step-free access to the Clock Tower floor T5.
