- The North Wing is located on the corner of the Strand and Surrey Street, between the Strand Building and East Building.
There is an internal entrance from the Strand Building via East Building.
There is not general permissive access to the rest of the building from the external entrance to the Modern Languages Centre on the Strand.

Building
View
- Services / Facilities within the building include; teaching rooms, staff and post-graduate research common rooms, and staff offices.
- Faculties and departments include the Department of Classics, the Department of Hellenic Studies, the Modern Languages Centre, and the Iris Project.
- The North Wing is arranged around a hollow square from level 1 upwards with a staircase on either side: 'rear', nearest Surrey Street; 'centre'; and a further staircase on the right-hand side, nearest the Strand building.
The rear and centre staircases are connected via through routes on all levels. The right-hand staircase is only connected to the rear and centre staircases via through routes on level 0 and floor 1 only.
There is also a staircase to the front of the building providing access from within the Languages Centre off the Strand.
