Getting Inside
- There is a step-free approach to the western accessible entrance of the building via a very easy but long slope.
- There is a step-free level approach to the eastern manual entrance of the building.
- Both entrances into the building are signed as 'Physics Building PHS'.
- The most accessible western entrance provides step-free access via automatic doors to level A.
- The eastern entrance provides step-free level access to level A via manual doors.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of the building.
- Only the lift near the main accessible entrance gives step-free level access to level D
- There are mid-level corridors that have stepped access only from the staircase at the western end of the building. Rooms on these corridors are A15, B08-B13 and C10-C17.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth with some having a shiny finish.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
