Introduction
- Services / facilities within the grounds include woodland walks and conservation area.
- There are several cricket clubs including Crouch End, Highgate, and North London.
- There are also several tennis clubs including Georgians, Hanley, and Highgate.
- Crouch End Open Space (CREOS), a registered charity, is set up to conserve, protect and enhance the Crouch End Playing Fields as an open space for public recreation
- Part of the area is owned and managed by the Shepherds Cot Trust.

- This access point is located next to 85 Wood Vale.

- There is an open gap.
- There is step-free access via slope as you enter.
- The slope has a slight gradient.
- There is a 102cm wide gate after the access point.
- There is also an open gap access point for Wood Vale Tennis Club next to 11 Wood Vale.
- There is step-free access via slope as you enter.
- The slope has a steep gradient.
- There is no further access into the woodlands or playing fields via this access point.
Access Point (Greenways)
- This access point is located along the Greenways path and connects Wood Vale with Park Road.
- Greenways is a wide tarmac path, with several open gap access points for the woodland walks.
- The access point is between 35 and 37 Wood Vale.
- The access point is not clearly signed.
- There is step-free level access.
- There is an open gap.
- The width of the opening is 114cm.
- There is step-free access via slope as you enter.
- The Greenways path continues along a very long slope with a slight gradient.
- There are some uneven surfaces along the path.
- There are numerous open gap barriers along the path.
- There are bollards at a woodlands access point after the Wood Vale access point.
- The minimum width between the bollards is 38cm.
- There is an open gap access point approximately 150m from the Wood Vale access point which provides access to the sports clubs access road.
Access Point (Park Road for Greenways)
- This access point is located off Park Road, opposite Park Avenue South.
- The access point is clearly signed.
- There is an open gap.
- The width of the opening is 190cm.
- There is step-free level access as you enter.
Parks and Gardens
- The park or garden does have footpaths.
- The path(s) has a / have compact earth, loose wood chippings, tarmac and muddy surface(s).
- The majority of the path(s) is / are wide enough for wheelchair users.

- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
