Introduction
- Access to Kempton Nature Reserve is restricted to members of the ''Friends Scheme'', to limit disturbance to wildlife and protect the public from the open water bodies on site.
- However, Kempton welcomes visits from schools and community groups, as well as opening the gates once a year for an open day.
- The venue offers free guided visits and education sessions linked to the National Curriculum or tailored to the group’s needs.
- These include learning about wetlands through pond dipping and exploring the reedbed and discovering woodlands in the outdoor classroom facility.
- We also offer work experience placements, volunteering opportunities and team build activities.
