- The K2 Building is a large building with 9 floors.
- There are 4 main lifts and 3 main staircases. .
- The floors are signed Ground, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
- There is step-free access via slight ramp between the K2 Building and the Keyworth Centre on the ground and first floors.

Parking and Public Transport

- The venue does not have its own car park.
- There is on-street standard parking.
- The nearest train station is Elephant and Castle.
- The nearest underground station is Elephant and Castle.
- Standard on street parking is along Keyworth Street and is permit holders only between 08:30 and 18:30 Monday to Friday.

Getting Inside
- There is a level approach to the building.
- There are two external entrances into the building, both of which provide step-free access via automatic doors.
- There are two internal entrances on the ground and first floors linking the building to the Keyworth Centre.
- The main entrance is signed as K2. The rear entrance is not signed.
- The main entrance has a single door that opens automatically towards you when a push pad is used. This entrance provides step-free level access into the reception area of the ground floor.
- There is an alternative automatic revolving door available.
- The rear entrance has a set of automatic double doors that open towards you when a key card is used. There is an alternative set of manual double doors. There is a small steep ramp at this entrance.
- There are two internal entrances on the ground and first floors linking the building to the Keyworth Centre.
- The ground floor link has one set of manual double doors leading to a slight ramp to access the K2 Building.
- The first floor link has one single manual door and one set of manual double doors leading to a slight ramp to access the K2 Building.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of the building on all floors.
- There is a slight ramp with a width of over 150cm and handrails on both sides to access K2-VG08 and K2-VG09.
- There is a slight slope on the first floor leading to rooms K2-V103 and K2-V105.
- There is a platform lift to access the speakers areas in K2-VG10 and K2-VG114.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Overhead and wall mounted wayfinding signage as well as maps are provided throughout the building.
- There are not manual doors in any circulation corridors, only to access stairwells. .
- There are security gates at the reception area with a width of 95cm and barriers with a width of 57cm.

- There are 9 toilets with adaptations.
- Toilets with adaptations are located along the corridors on the ground, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh floors.
- The transfer space varies between left and right in the toilets with adaptations.
- There is a shower with adaptations in the second floor toilet with adaptations.
- Ambulant toilet facilities are located in the standard toilets on all floors.
- The male and female step-free standard toilet facilities are located on all floors.

Reception

- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- There may be background noise in this area.

- The lift surveyed is located to your left on entering the building.

- The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
- The Ground, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and eighth floors are accessed by this lift.
- The lift door has a high visual contrast.
- The lift has a level manoeuvring space in front of it for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- The weight limit for the lift is 630kg.
- The external lift control buttons have tactile markings and a high visual contrast.
- All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The lift door opening width is 90cm.
