Getting Inside

  • The Tower Block is accessed off Level 2 of the Student Centre. The approach to these entrances is level via lift.
  • There is level access into the lift area of the Tower Block via a single manual door that is permanently held open.
  • There is an alternative set of two single manual doors to the left of the Grads Cafe on Level 2 of the Student Centre.
  • Room T206 is located off the main seating area of the Student Centre on Level 2 and has level access.
  • There is a set of double manual doors with level access to enter the corridor leading to rooms T211-T226.
  • There is signage for Tower Block leading to the main door into the lift area and the entrance leading to rooms T211 - T226, alongside additional signage detailing facilities in the Tower Block.
  • The entrance into room T206 is signed as T206.
  • The entrance to the left of the Grads Cafe has no signage indicating it is an entrance into the Tower Block. .
  • The entrance into the lift area consists of a permanently held open manual single door. It accesses the lift area on level 2.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free access throughout the tower block on all floors.
  • There is a light ramp with handrails on both sides leading to room T218.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
  • There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating available.
