There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
British Sign Language can be provided virtually.
There is a designated assistance dog spending area.
The sunflower room is located in the Terminal 1 Departures Lounge.
There is an assistance dog spending area located in Terminal 2 next to Departure Gates B.
Passengers are escorted to this area by a member of staff.
Passengers with booked assistance: Passengers who have booked assistance should note that you can only be dropped off near to the Departures area.
If you require help to get to the assistance check-in desk, passenger's helpers are required to park in the short-term parking at arrivals, walk through to arrivals, go up a lift and around the corner to reach the assistance check-in desk, and request further assistance for the passenger.
All parking in the multi-storey is pre-booked only.

Manchester Airport offers passengers a meet and greet parking service.
This service needs to be pre-booked either by telephone or online and you will be given a reference number.
On arrival at the airport you will need to drive up to the barriers at the entrance to the meet and greet parking area and quote your reference number by using the intercom.
You will then be directed to park in a numbered lane.
After removing the luggage from the car, you will need to go to the meet and greet desk within the Terminal 2 check in building, where you leave your car keys with staff, who will check your departure and arrival time with you.
When arriving back at the airport, you will need to go to the meet and greet building where you can pick up your car keys and you will be told where your car is parked.
There is a lift to go from the meet and greet parking area to the parking level to access the check in building.
There are sets of automatic doors leading to the check in building.
The route to the building crosses the access road for the Terminal 2 Drop Off.
There are pedestrian crossing points next to each entrance.
Any passengers who are wheelchair users or have a mobility impairment will have their car parked in one of the Blue Badge parking bays.

The counter is located ahead from the Level 3 - Drop Off entrance.
The counter is approximately 4m from the Level 3 - Drop Off entrance.
The counter is clearly visible from the entrance.
There is step-free access via slope to the counter.
The slight ramp is over 150cm wide, with a handrail on the right going up.
The handrail is not easy to grip.
The height of the counter is 114cm.
There is not a clear knee recess beneath the lowered section of the counter.
There is sufficient space to write or sign documents on the counter.
There is not a hearing assistance system.
There is no (or very little) background noise.
Some flooring is shiny.
Lighting levels are moderate to good.
There is step-free level access in this area.
There is not designated seating available for people who require assistance.
There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
There are sofas available in this area.

The car park is located on Atlanta Avenue.
This is a multi storey car park with a concrete surface.
The height of the height restriction barrier is 200cm.
The car park has an intercom and an automatic number plate recognition barrier control system.
Controls for the barrier may be difficult to reach.
There are 4 designated Blue Badge parking bays available.
Blue Badge parking markings are faded.
The Blue Badge parking bay dimensions are 227cm x 390cm.
There is a marked zone on both sides and to the rear.
There are no help points available.
Parking is not free for pick up and drop off.
The most accessible route from the Blue Badge parking to the terminal building has dropped kerbs with tactile paving, dropped kerbs without tactile paving and bollards.
There is a pedestrian crossing between the car park and the terminal.
There is not a bus service available that runs between the car park and the terminal.
The car park has an automatic number plate recognition barrier control system at the exit.
