- Facilities available in the venue include: a shop and 2 cafés in the arrivals hall.

Getting Help and Assistance

- There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- British Sign Language can be provided virtually.
- There is a designated assistance dog spending area.
- The sunflower room is located in the Terminal 1 Departures Lounge.
There is an assistance dog spending area located in Terminal 2 next to Departure Gates B.
Passengers are escorted to this area by a member of staff.
Passengers with booked assistance: Passengers who have booked assistance should note that you can only be dropped off near to the Departures area.
If you require help to get to the assistance check-in desk, passenger's helpers are required to park in the short-term parking at arrivals, walk through to arrivals, go up a lift and around the corner to reach the assistance check-in desk, and request further assistance for the passenger.
All parking in the multi-storey is pre-booked only.

Entrance (Level 0 - from Multi Storey Car Park West)
- This entrance is located to the right from the car park pedestrian access, at the right side of the terminal building.

- There are double automatic doors which open by sliding.

- There is step-free level access as you enter the entrance.
Arrivals
- There is step-free access throughout.

- Lighting levels are varied.
- Arrivals information boards are available.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- The colour, design and typeface of signs is consistent throughout the area.
- Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
- There are not audible announcements in this area.

- The area has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs, lift and escalator.
Lift (Arrivals to Departures)
- The lift is located at the end of the arrivals hall before exit 1.
- The floors which are accessible by the lift surveyed are 0 and 2.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door has a high visual contrast.
- The external lift control buttons have a low visual contrast.
- All of the external lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift door opening width is 183cm.
- The internal dimensions of the lift are 216cm x 216cm.
- The internal lift control buttons have tactile markings, Braille markings and a low visual contrast.
- All of the internal lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- Internally the lift has: a hearing assistance alarm system, a visual floor indicator, an audible announcer and a list of floor services/facilities.

Escalator (Arrivals to Departures)

Room (Prayer Room Level 3)
- The room is located at the west end of the check in hall.

- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre within the room (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the seating area.

Toilet and Changing Facilities

- There is pictorial, written text and ‘Not All Disabilities Are Visible’ signage on or near the door.
- The door to enter opens inwards and has a low visual contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 115cm.
- The door has a locking handle.
- Internally the door has a low visual contrast.
- There is a grab rail on the internal door with a low visual contrast.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 256cm x 224cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the seat but it is obstructed.
