Overview

There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
British Sign Language can be provided virtually.
There is a designated assistance dog spending area.
The sunflower room is located in the Terminal 1 Departures Lounge.
There is an assistance dog spending area located in Terminal 2 next to Departure Gates B.
Passengers are escorted to this area by a member of staff.
Passengers with booked assistance: Passengers who have booked assistance should note that you can only be dropped off near to the Departures area.
If you require help to get to the assistance check-in desk, passenger's helpers are required to park in the short-term parking at arrivals, walk through to arrivals, go up a lift and around the corner to reach the assistance check-in desk, and request further assistance for the passenger.
All parking in the multi-storey is pre-booked only.

Manchester Airport offers passengers a meet and greet parking service.
This service needs to be pre-booked either by telephone or online and you will be given a reference number.
On arrival at the airport you will need to drive up to the barriers at the entrance to the meet and greet parking area and quote your reference number by using the intercom.
You will then be directed to park in a numbered lane.
After removing the luggage from the car, you will need to go to the meet and greet building where you leave your car keys with staff, who will check your departure and arrival time with you.
When arriving back at the airport, you will need to go to the meet and greet building where you can pick up your car keys and you will be told where your car is parked.
Any passengers who are either wheelchair users or have a mobility impairment will have their car parked close to the meet and greet building in the Terminal 3 Meet and Greet Car Park.
There are no designated marked Blue Badge parking spaces in the Terminal 3 Meet and Greet Car Park.

This entrance is located to the front left of the Meet and Greet Reception office.
There is step-free access via a very easy slope at the entrance.
The entrance area is clearly signed.
There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at this entrance.
There are no help points available.
There is a single automatic door which opens by sliding.
The width of the opening is 106cm.
There is an oversized threshold at the opening.
The door have a low visual contrast.
There is step-free level access as you enter the entrance.

The counter is located to the right of the meet and greet reception entrance.
The counter is approximately 6m from the meet and greet reception entrance.
The counter is clearly visible from the entrance.
There is step-free level access to the counter.
The height of the counter is 110cm.
The lowered section of the counter is at a height of 76cm.
There is a clear knee recess beneath the lowered section of the counter.
There is sufficient space to write or sign documents on the counter.
There is not a hearing assistance system.
There is no (or very little) background noise.
Lighting levels are moderate to good.
There is step-free level access in this area.
There is not designated seating available for people who require assistance.
There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the seating area.
There are chairs with armrests available in this area.
