Route to (Coach Horse Stables)

  • Exit the visitor reception and turn right.
    Turn right into the stable yard.
    The Coach Horse Stables are ahead and to the left, on the opposite side of the yard.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, gravel, cobbles and paving stones.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Entrance (Coach Horse Stables)

  • The entrance surveyed is located within the stable yard on the opposite side to the Stables Bookshop.
  • There is stepped access at the entrance.
  • There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
  • The step is not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
  • There are double manual doors which are permanently open.
  • The width of the opening is 118cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of more than 1.5cm.

Attraction / Exhibit (Coach Horse Stables)

  • The majority of walkway widths are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • There is no (or very little) background noise here.
  • The exhibits do not have hearing assistance systems.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There are no seats available in the area.
