Route to (Fountain Garden)

  • From the rear of the blue badge parking, turn left and follow the path round until you reach the junction.
    At the junction, turn left and continue along the path towards the courtyard on the right side of Ham House.
    At the courtyard, continue straight and the access point to the Fountain Garden is located along the wall on the left.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are concrete, gravel and cobbles.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces (Fountain Garden)

  • This information is for the access point located to the left of the Main Courtyard.
  • Access into the area is via a steep ramp/slope.
  • The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The access points to the area are located to the right as you face Ham House. There is stepped access from the Visitor Reception and a slight downwards slope from Ham House into the Fountain Garden.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
  • The gate is not self-closing.
  • The width of the gap is 80cm.
  • The width of the door at the front of Ham House to access the Fountain Garden is 100cm.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens.
