Turn right from the ticket office and follow the path to the barnyard seating area.
Cross the barnyard diagonaly to the left and slightly uphill.
Exit via the open gate and follow the path ahead.
Cross the estate road at the crossing point and make for the large open gates that are the entrance to the house and gardens.
Turn immediately right and Sundials Bookshop is straight ahead.

Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, tarmac, gravel, cobbles and paving stones.
