Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Hikes and Trails

  • The walk is approximately 1 mile.
  • The route goes from the car park, around the house and gardens towards the river and loops back around to the car park.
  • The hike is not open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac and gravel.
  • Some of the route contains steep gradients.
  • There are no alternative routes to avoid these areas.
  • The route is clearly signposted.
  • Seating is not available on the route.
  • There are no toilet facilities along the route.
