- The accommodation is made up of ground floor self-catered cottages, all with external entrances.
- There are 5 cottages at Albert Stern House.

- Standard accommodation has shared bathrooms with stepped shower cubicles.
- There is one shared kitchen between all 5 cottages. Laundry facilities for this accommodation block are at the Ifor Evans Place laundry room.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level.
- There are two entrances that lead to the main Albert Stern Cottages entrance.
- The Godward Square entrance provides step-free access via a steep slope to the main Albert Stern Cottage entrance.
- The Ifor Evans Place entrance provides stepped access to the main Albert Stern Cottage entrance.
- The Ifor Evans Place entrance is signed, but the Godward Square entrance is not signed.
- Both the Godward Square and Ifor Evans Place entrances lead to the main Albert Stern Cottages entrance.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the Albert Stern Cottages passageway.
- There is stepped access into all cottages, bathrooms and the shared kitchen.
- Floor surfaces along the passageway are paving slabs with uneven surfaces. Floor surfaces along lobby areas are carpeted and smooth.
- There are no resting areas in circulation and lobby areas.
- Overhead and wall mounted wayfinding signage is limited in this area.
- There are manual doors to access all cottages, bathrooms and the shared kitchen. There are no other doors along the passageway.
