- The accommodation is made up of ground floor self-catered cottages, all with external entrances.

- Standard accommodation has shared bathrooms with stepped shower cubicles.
- There is one shared kitchen between all 5 cottages. Laundry facilities for this accommodation block are at the Ifor Evans Place laundry room.

The approach to the building is step-free and level.

The Godward Square entrance provides step-free access via a steep slope to the main Albert Stern Cottage entrance.
The Ifor Evans Place entrance provides stepped access to the main Albert Stern Cottage entrance.
The Ifor Evans Place entrance is signed, but the Godward Square entrance is not signed.
Both the Godward Square and Ifor Evans Place entrances lead to the main Albert Stern Cottages entrance.

There is step-free level access throughout the Albert Stern Cottages passageway.
There is stepped access into all cottages, bathrooms and the shared kitchen.
