Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Windsor Park is located to the south of the Main University area.
    • There is a car park for visitors to the rear of the 36 and 38 Windsor Park.
  • By Bus View
    • There are bus stations at Ethel Road and Windsor Park 9a, 9b, 9c, 23, 26, 38, 51 ,103, 103b, 109, 523, 525, 530, 538, 551. These are approximately 0.2 miles away. There is another bus station in San Souci Park that serves 8B, 8c, 22, 24a, 524 524a. This is approximately 0.2 miles away.

    • The nearest train station is the Adelaide Station which is approximately 0.4 miles away.

  • The Group meets at least once a month during term-time, usually in One Elmwood Student Centre. It is a peer-led group that provides an additional opportunity for students to develop friendships, share experiences and offer each other support and guidance. Group activities vary and depend on members’ interests, e.g. watching a film, visiting local places of interest, going out for lunch, as well as workshops on relevant topics. Over the last number of years, the group has been supported to agree a quieter lunch space in the Union where students with ASC can take some time to unwind from the busy atmosphere of University life.

  • The Disability Research Network is a new multi-disciplinary initiative aimed at enhancing collaboration between academics, policymakers, practitioners and community and voluntary sector organisations with an interest in disability studies and research. It provides a unique opportunity for members to share knowledge and disseminate the growing body of disability research being carried out in Northern Ireland, stimulate debate about disability issues and develop collaborative partnerships for future disability research and further development of disability policy and practice.
