Getting To (Changing Place)
- The changing place is located on level 3 of Chelsea Wing.
- The changing place is approximately 65m from the Lift 1.
- The route from the Blue Badge parking on Sydney Street to the main entrance has slopes and uneven surfaces.
- Access to the changing place is via the Main Hospital Entrance (Sydney Street).
- Enter via the main hospital entrance.
Continue straight ahead along the corridor and through a set of double doors.
Turn right at the Laboratory Medicine Department and enter the level 2 lift lobby.
Take the lift up to level 3.
Exit the lift lobby to the right and proceed up a slight slope into the bridge/link corridor.
Follow the bridge/link corridor around to the left.
Turn left at the end of the bridge/link corridor and the changing place is on the left hand side. - There is ramped/sloped and lift access to the changing place.
- The most accessible route includes manual doors and narrow corridors or walkways.
- Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
- The following toilet facilities are available along the route; accessible toilet (with right hand transfer) and standard toilets.
