Overview (Burngreave Vestry Hall)

    • This is a community centre.

Parking

    • There is not a designated drop-off point available.
  • On-street Parking View
    • On-street standard parking is available.
    • There is unrestricted and unmarked on-street parking located on Grimesthorpe Road South, Bressingham Road and Clun Road.
  • Public Car Parks View
    • There is a public car park located on Grimesthorpe Road South.
    • The name of the car park is Grimesthorpe Road South Car Park.
    • Designated Blue Badge parking bays are not available in the car park.

Entrance (Main Entrance)

  • This entrance is located on the pedestrianised section of Grimesthorpe Road South, next to Burngreave Road and opposite Ellesmere Green.
  • The entrance area is clearly signed.
  • There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
  • There is step-free level access at the entrance.
  • There is an intercom at a height of 134cm.
  • There are double manual doors at this entrance, however one door is locked or bolted.

Reception

  • The ground floor and floor 1 can be accessed by these stairs.
  • There are 9 steps between floors.
  • The steps are clearly marked and have handrails on both sides.
  • The handrails are not easy to grip.
  • The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
  • The handrails do not extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
  • The height of the steps is between 15cm and 18cm.
  • The height of the highest step is 17cm.
  • The depth of the steps is not between 30cm and 45cm.
