Getting To (Burns Unit)

  • The most accessible route from the Huntsman Entrance - Accessible Parking and Drop-off has slight ramps or slopes, uneven surfaces, a dropped kerb with tactile paving and bollards.

  • The Burns Unit is located on level E of the Huntsman Building.
  • The Burns Unit is approximately 13m from the Huntsman Building - NGL 2 and 3 lifts.
  • Enter the hospital via the Huntsman Building Entrance 3.
    Proceed along the corridor to the first set of lifts on the left.
    Take a lift to level E and turn right on exiting.
    Continue ahead and the Burns Unit is located at the end of the corridor.
  • Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny .
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
