Access To
- 01M .19 Meeting / Tutorial Room is located on mezzanine floor one, turn right out of the lift.
- There is a slight slope on the route to the room.
- View information on Old Medical School - Doorway 4 (opens new tab) .
- The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and a very easy ramp or slope.
- The slope has a slight gradient.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide with handrails on both sides.
- There is written text and numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into 01M.19 - Meeting/Tutorial Room.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 85cm.
- The door has a low visual contrast.
Teaching
- This is a meeting room.
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor have a medium visual contrast.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
- There are no designated spaces for wheelchair users.
