Access Guide
Access To
- The room is on level 4, NW corridor, to the left as you exit lift 001, or the right as you exit lift 002.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access, a slight ramp or slope, uneven surfaces and manual doors.
- There is tactile, written text and numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- There are double manual doors which open both ways.
- The width of the opening is 170cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
- The doors are on the main corridor to each end of the room. There are two open access points without doors into the room from the corridor that are 200cm wide.
Room (Small Event Space)
- The room is located on level 4, NW corridor, to the left as you exit lift 001.
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- The walls and floor visual contrast varies between low and high.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests.
- Furniture available in the room includes: tables, high tables and long tables.
- Some surface heights are suitable for wheelchair users.
- The clear underside space of some surfaces is suitable for wheelchair users.
- There is a fixed hearing assistance system which is not clearly signed.
- The hearing assistance system could not be tested at the time of the survey.
- There is background noise in this area which varies depending on the function/event .
- Lighting levels vary due to the use of large glazed walls.
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
- There are electrical socket covers and cables on the floor which may cause a trip hazard.
