Access To
- Seminar Room 3 is located on the basement floor of Minto House, to the rear left from the lift.
- View information on Minto House (opens new tab) .
- The most accessible route has a lift, a very easy ramp or slope, steep ramps or slopes, manual doors and shiny flooring.
- There is tactile, written text and numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into Seminar Room 3 - B.154 - SR 3.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 85cm.
- The door has a medium visual contrast.
Teaching
- This is a teaching room.
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- The flooring is patterned.
- Floor coverings are not even and could potentially cause a trip hazard.
- The walls and floor have a medium visual contrast.
- Lighting levels were low at the time of the survey.
- There are no designated spaces for wheelchair users.
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs with armrests, chairs without armrests and lecture chairs.
- The height of the speaker's desk/table is 95cm.
- The speaker's desk/table is not height adjustable.
