There is a set of double, permanently held open doors (with one leaf locked), followed by a second single manual door at this entrance. - The main entrance is signed as "48 Pleasance - Scottish Student Sport, Scottish Volleyball, Edinburgh University Sports Union, Playerlayer, University of Edinburgh Sport Club Room".
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access on all the floors themselves; however all upper floors are accessible via stairs only, given that the building has no lift.
- Floor surfaces along circulation routes are comprised of shiny vinyl flooring and low pile carpet.
- There are no seating areas in any circulation areas of the building.
- Wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are no manual doors in any circulation areas of the building - the only manual doors in the building are for access to individual rooms.
