Overview

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building from the Pleasance Courtyard is step-free level, albeit with uneven cobbled surfaces.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout all circulation areas of the building on all floors, including step-free level access (via lift) from the accessible entrance to all facilities on the first and second floors. from the accessible entrance or lift. Access to the Pentland Room is therefore only possible by entering the building via the main entrance (with a single step) or descending the stairs from the first floor.
  • Due to the archway separating the lift from the rest of the building at ground floor level, there is no internal access to the ground floor facilities (namely the Pentland Room) from the accessible entrance or lift.
