Access To
- The Sanctuary is located to the rear of the ground floor of the building, past the platform lift.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access, uneven surfaces and automatic doors.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into The Sanctuary.
- There are double automatic doors which open towards you.
- The push pad for the automatic doors is at a height of 97cm.
- The width of the opening is 138cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
- There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 97cm.
Room
- There is not step-free level access throughout the room.
- The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: the room is slightly sloped down from the entrance to the far end.
- The following areas have stepped access: the seating and stained glass window area is accessed by 2 steps.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- The flooring is patterned.
- The walls and floor have a medium visual contrast.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs with armrests and sofas.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise in this room.
- Lighting levels were low at the time of the survey.
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
