Getting Inside

- There is access to the main entrance to the building via uneven surfaces from the rear of the building.
There is a steep slope and steps when approaching from the right of the building. - There are 2 entrances into the building and both have manual doors.
The rear accessible entrance has level access and is generally kept locked and must be opened from inside the building. - The accessible entrance is not signed.
The main entrance is signed as School of Geosciences UK Biochar Research Centre. - The accessible entrance provides level access to the ground floor.
- There is a step at the base of the main entrance door.
- A member of staff will need to allow access to the rear accessible entrance from inside the building.
Getting Around
- There is step free level access throughout the building.
- Floor surfaces along the circulation route are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There is no seating along the circulation route.
- There is limited signage is the building.
- The corridor has a width of 100cm.
