- The Noreen and Kenneth Murray library is a medium sized building with four floors.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.
- There are nine steps on the approach to the Noreen and Kenneth Murray Library.
These steps can be overcome by using the slight slope on the main path next to the steps.
There is step-free access to the ground floor and the KB Café via the KB Café main entrance.
Step-free access to the first floor library entrance is via the Nucleus Building main entrance and lift. - Noreen and Kenneth Murray library has 2 entrances.
The main entrance on the ground floor is to access KB café only.
The Nucleus link entrance on floor 1 is used to access the library. - The entrances are signed with the building names.
- The accessible entrance on the first floor provides step-free access to the first floor library.
- The main entrance on the ground floor gives access to KB café and the stairs to the library on the first floor.
Getting Around
- It is possible to bypass all steps once inside the building by using lifts.
- On the ground floor there is a link passage between the Noreen and Kenneth Murray library and the Nucleus building.
The passage has 10 medium height steps which can be overcome by using the platform lift. - There is internal step-free access between the Noreen and Kenneth Murray library and Nucleus building on the first floor.
- To get to the first floor of Noreen and Kenneth Murray library you have to go through the Nucleus main entrance and take the Nucleus lift to the first floor. Noreen and Kenneth Murray library is then to the right. There are some narrow aisles obstructed by support pillars on floors 1, 2 and 3.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth with some having a shiny or patterned finish.
- There are resting/seating areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Wayfinding signage is provided at the lift and stair lobbies.
- There are not manual doors in any circulation corridors, only to access the lift lobby and stairwells.
