Access To
- The FASIC Clinic and Studio is located on the ground floor of the Pleasance Sports Complex & Gym, on the right-hand side of the building.
From the security barriers, continue ahead to the end of the corridor, then turning left and then to the right at the bottom of the ramps. - View information on Pleasance Sports Complex & Gym (opens new tab) .
- The most accessible route has slight ramps or slopes, manual doors, doors permanently held open and patterned flooring.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access to enter the FASIC Clinic area.
FASIC Clinic And Studio
- The FASIC Clinic is a medical clinic located within the Pleasance Sports Complex & Gym.
- It is comprised of an area with four treatment rooms and toilet, and a large exercise hall.
- To enter the treatment room area, there is a single manual door that is permanently held open.
- The opening width of this door is 80cm.
- There are seats without armrests available within the waiting area.
- Access throughout includes manual doors to treatment rooms with opening widths of 78cm.
- There is a stepped level change comprised of six steps within the Clinical Area.
- These steps have an easy to grip handrail on the right-hand side going up.
- The handrail runs along the entire length of the steps but does not extend horizontally past the first or last step.
- The steps have a step-height of 17cm, but the step depth is not between 30 and 45cm.
- Inside the treatment rooms there is a mix of treatment tables and clinical exercise machines.
- The FASIC Studio is located directly opposite the FASIC Clinic space.
- There is a double manual door that opens towards you to enter the FASIC Studio.
- The opening width of this door is 126cm.
- Inside, lighting levels are even but are not adjustable.
- The flooring is shiny within the Studio.
- There are fold-up chairs without armrests available.
- This room is used for exercise and training purposes.
