Access To
- 2B.020 is located between Cores 5 and 6 on the second floor of the Engineering Building B.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access and a lift.
- There is numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into 2B.020 Blended Lecture Theatre 2.
- There are double manual doors which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 200cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
- There are two similar entrances into the room one in Core 5 and the other in Core 6.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
- There is step-free level access to the speaker’s area and front row only.
- The following areas have stepped access: the rows of seating beyond the first row.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- There is tiered seating with no handrails at the steps.
- There are no designated spaces for wheelchair users.
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests.
- Furniture available in the room includes: tables.
