View
- AV Hill Building is a large rectangular building with four floors.
- There are three lifts, and four staircases within the building.
- The floors are signed as G for ground floor, 1 for first floor, 2 for second floor, and so on.
This is slightly different inside the lifts where control buttons are marked as 0 for the ground floor. - View information on AV Hill.

- There is a campus car park, with Blue Badge parking available.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free access via a long slope with a slight gradient.
- There are three entrances into the building.
The main accessible entrance into the building is on the ground floor from the car park.
There is an internal link bridge from the Michael Smith Building on the third floor.
There is a further internal link bridge from the Core Technology Facility on the third floor. - The main entrance is not named (signed AV Hill Building).
- There is step-free access into the building via a slope with a slight gradient.
- The internal link bridge entrance from the Core Technology Facility on the third floor is on a long slope with a slight gradient.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
- There are steps at the rear of the first floor to access a seating area.
- Floor surfaces on the ground floor are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
Circulation routes' surfaces from the first floor upwards are carpet.
There is a walkway on the third floor with floor surfaces that are hard and smooth. - There is extensive social seating on the first floor including seating without armrests, stools, and sofas.
There is some breakout space seating on other floors. - There are wall mounted floor plans available on all floors.
- There are some manual doors on the ground floor requiring a key card.
