Access To
- G.03 Lecture Theatre is located on the ground floor in the Williamson Building, on the left after the Williamson entrance.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access and shiny flooring.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into G.03 Lecture Theatre.
- There are double automatic doors which open towards you.
- The push pad for the automatic doors is at a height of 100cm.
- The width of the opening is 132cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
- There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 100cm.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
- There is step-free level access to the speaker’s area and front row only.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor visual contrast varies between low and high.
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
- There is tiered seating with no handrails at the steps.
- There are no designated spaces for wheelchair users.
- Furniture available in the room includes: tables.
- The chairs and tables are fixed.
- The speaker's desk/table is height adjustable.
- This room has a whiteboard.
- The projector projects onto the wall behind the speakers desk.
There is alternative stepped access to the rear of the theatre via the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences department on the first floor.
