Accommodation Overview

Getting Inside

  • The paths leading to all accommodation buildings are step-free with some slight gradients.
  • Oaklands has 2 entrances, 1 entrance is stepped with manual doors and the other (rear accessible entrance) has ramped access with automatic doors.
    All other accommodation blocks, apart from Birley and Houldsworth, have 2 entrances which have 1 unmarked step with manual doors.
    Birley has 1 entrance with 1 step with no handrails and Houldsworth has 3 clearly marked steps with handrails both sides. .
  • The entrances are not signed.
  • The accessible entrance provides step-free access to the ground floor of Oaklands.
  • There is internal access on the first floor between Oakland and Christie and between Birley and Plymouth.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout the ground floor of the accommodation block.
