- Humanities Bridgeford Street is a medium sized rectangular building with four floors.
- There is one lift and three main staircases within the building.
- The floors are signed as Basement, Ground, First and Second.
This is slightly different inside the lifts where control buttons are marked as 0 instead of Ground and -1 instead of Basement.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level.
- Humanities Bridgeford Street has one main entrance which provides step-free access via a ramp.
There is a second external entrance which provides step-free access via a steep slope. - The main entrance is not named but is signed as Humanities Bridgeford Street.
- The main entrance provides step-free slight sloped access to the reception on the Ground Floor.
Getting Around
- There is step-free access throughout the building via a stair lift and a ramp, except access to The Hanson Room.
There are some narrow corridors. - On the Ground floor there is a ramp to access the lobby area after the reception.
The ramp bypasses three unmarked steps. - On the Ground floor in the Student Support Hub and Library there is a ramp to access the library area after the reception.

- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
Some surfaces are carpeted, smooth and patterned. - There are study/resting areas in all circulation areas throughout the building apart from the Basement floor.
There is a mixture of seating types in these areas. - Wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
The signage does sometimes vary in terms of type, font and colour. - There are some manual doors to access corridors and lobby areas.

- Toilets with adaptations are located on all floors (Basement, Ground, First Floor and Second Floor).
- The transfer space varies between left and right in the toilets with adaptations.

- The male and female toilet facilities are located on the Basement level, First Floor and Second Floor.
