- Jean McFarlane Building is a very large building with seven floors.
- There are three main lifts and one staircase within the building.
- The floors are signed as Ground, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
This is slightly different inside the lifts where control buttons are marked as 0 instead of Ground.

- The venue has its own car park, with Blue Badge parking available.
- The nearest train station is Manchester Oxford Road.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level.
- Jean McFarlane Building has two entrances both of which provide step-free level access.
The entrances have automatic doors. - The entrances are signed with the building name.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
- Floor surfaces along circulation routes are carpeted and smooth.
There are some floor surfaces which are patterned. - There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Overhead and wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are some manual doors to access stairwells and corridors.

- There are 7 toilets with adaptations.
- Toilets with adaptations are located on floors Ground, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
- All toilets with adaptations have a right hand transfer space.
- Ambulant toilet facilities are located in the standard male and female toilets on the ground, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 floors.
- The male and female toilet facilities are located on the ground, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 floors..

Reception
- The reception is located on the right as you enter the building.

- All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.

- The internal dimensions of the lift are 157cm (width) x 140cm (depth).
