Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is via a ramp or a step.
- The keypad activated, double manual door gives access to the entrance foyer on the ground floor.
- The entrance is not named, but signed Control Building.
Getting Around
- There is step-free access throughout the majority of the ground floor.
- Access to the Control room off the ground floor corridor is via steps.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth.
- There are is a resting area in the entrance foyer.
- There are pathways to the rear of the Control Building for public access to view the Lovell Telescope.
There are picnic benches, seating and a play area.
There is step-free level pathway access to the Star and Space pavilions.
