- The Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama is a large building with five floors.
- There is one main lift and two main staircases within the building.
- The floors are signed as Basement, Ground, 1, 2 and 3.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level.
- The Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama has two entrances, one entrance provides step-free level access with automatic doors (accessible entrance).
- The entrances are signed with the building name.
- The accessible entrance gives access to the ground floor,.
- The rear entrance has ramped or stepped access.
Getting Around
- There is step free level access in the circulation area on the ground floor.
There are some narrow corridors on the second floor. - On the ground floor there is stepped or ramped access to the stairwell and seminar rooms.
On the first floor there is slight sloped access along the corridor to offices and the male and female toilets.
On the second floor there is slight sloped access along the corridors to offices and the male, female and accessible toilets.
On the third floor there is slight sloped access along the corridor to the music rooms and male and female toilets. - There is a platform lift to overcome the steps to access the Cosmo Rosewald Concert Hall.
There is accessible entrance along the corridor on the left of the Concert Hall. There is a chair stair to access the right side of the basement.
There is stepped access on the first floor to the rear of the John Casken Theatre. - Floor surfaces along circulation routes are hard and smooth or carpeted and smooth.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are not any manual doors in circulation corridors, only for access to stairwells.

- The lift surveyed is located at the rear of the building.

- The lift has a level manoeuvring space in front of it for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- The external lift control buttons have tactile markings and a low visual contrast.
- All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
