Accommodation Overview

About
View
- Woolton Hall is located on the Fallowfield Campus, off Whitworth Lane.
- Woolton Hall is made up of Ashley, Spencer, Morley, Cavendish and Lindsay.
The accommodation block surveyed was Cavendish. - There is also a main building which has the communal dining room, common room and bar, laundry, library study area and computer room.
- The accommodation buildings all have 3 floors apart from Ashley which has 2 floors.
- Woolton Hall is made up of around 194 rooms.
- There are no rooms with adaptations at Woolton Hall.
- Standard accommodation has ensuites with stepped shower cubicles and shared bathrooms with stepped shower cubicles.
- There are kitchen facilities on each floor of each accommodation block.
The main building has the communal dining room, common room and bar, laundry, library study area and computer room.
The laundry facilities are external to the main building accessed via 3 steps.

Getting Inside
- The approach to all accommodation blocks is step-free level access.
There are speed bumps on the internal road outside of Lindsay and the road leading to the main building. - The approach to the main building is via a slight slope.
- There is 1 entrance to each accommodation block. There are manual doors at all accommodation block entrances.
- The entrances are signed with the building name.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access through the ground floor of all the accommodation buildings.
- There is a slight slope on the ground floor of the main building to access the post boxes.
- Floor surfaces along circulation routes are hard and smooth or carpeted and smooth.
There are some floor surfaces which have a shiny finish. - There are resting areas in the lobby area of the main building.
- There is directional signage for the bedrooms and bathroom facilities in the accommodation buildings.

- Toilets with adaptations are located in the shared bathrooms on the ground floor of Carlisle and Morley and on the ground floor of the main building.

- Ambulant toilet facilities are located on the ground floor shared bathroom in Lindsay.
- The shared toilet facilities are located in the shared bathrooms in the accommodation blocks and on the ground floor of the main building.
