Getting to the Room (2105)

  • The average walking time to the room is 4 minutes.
  • Take a lift from the reception lobby to level 0. After exiting the lift take a right and continue along the pathway.
    Proceed down the ramp and take a right, then another right down a steep ramp. Turn left and proceed through the open doorway into the "Leton" building.
    From the hallway, take a left into the room corridor and you will find room number 2105 on the left hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift, slight ramps/slopes, steep ramps/slopes and an open entrance with no doors.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (2105)

  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 90cm wide.
  • The bed type is double.
  • The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 10cm high.
  • Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (2105 - Left Hand Transfer)

  • The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 80cm.
  • There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 90cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and an emergency alarm.
  • There is no dropdown rail.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
  • There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
