Access Guide
Resort Information
- This resort has the following facilities: a gym, a sauna, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, a play area/playground, a water park and a swimming pool. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
- The resort has 144 rooms available. None of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- The resort provides accommodation in 6 buildings, some of which have 2 storeys. The resort is mostly accessible via step-free level pathways, with some ramps of varying degrees. There are 5 lifts.
- There is 1 restaurant.
- There are 9 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the reception lobby and in the pool bar area.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception lobby, in the pool bar area and near the restaurant.
- Baby change facilities can be found outside the toilet area in the reception lobby.
- The resort has the following available: a deaf alert system.
- There is no medication fridge.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Guests can store and charge their mobility scooters in their rooms.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.
- This resort is aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
- There is not a Safe/Quiet Place available in the resort.
- WiFi is available throughout the resort.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the building.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the building.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 150cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- There is a reception desk suitable for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is patterned.
- There are coffee tables, chairs with armrests, chairs without armrests, sofas and tables available in this reception area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, a restaurant, a gym and a bar.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- The following areas have step-free level access: main entrance doors, the lifts, the standard toilets and the baby changing facilities. There is step-free level access via lift to some of the guest rooms, the toilets with adaptations for disabled people and the restaurant.
- There is hard flooring.
- Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
Lift
- The lift is located to the right of the reception desk.
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 0 to 2.
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings, Braille markings, a door with a high colour contrast to the surroundings and tactile markings.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door opening width is 120cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 110cm x 206cm.
- Internally the lift has; controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), Braille markings, buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings and tactile markings.
Getting Around the Resort
- The paths around the resort are made from: concrete and tiles.
- The following areas have step-free level access: the main entrance doors, the lifts, the standard toilets and the baby changing facilities. .
- The following areas have step-free access via lift: some of the guest rooms, the toilets with adaptations for disabled people and the restaurant.
- The following areas have step-free access via slight ramps or slopes: the water park, the pool area, some guest rooms and the entertainment area.
- The following areas do not have step-free access: some of the pools in the pool area.
Toilet (Reception Lobby)
- The female toilet was surveyed.
- There is also a male toilet in the same location.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 80cm.
- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is not over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Transfer Both Sides)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 89cm.
- The toilet door has a key lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 198cm x 220cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There are lateral transfer spaces on both sides of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space on the left is 80cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- The lateral transfer space on the right is 77cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet seat (48cm), hand dryer (between 80cm - 100cm) and the baby changing facility (75cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the soap dispenser (not between 80cm - 100cm).
