Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 200cm x 212cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 115cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush in the centre of the cistern.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The doorway to the toilet area, which leads to the toilet with adaptations for disabled people is 103cm wide.
There is a fixed handrail on the transfer side of the toilet.
