Access Guide
Getting to the Room (105)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From reception, turn left and proceed up the ramp at the far end of the reception lobby.
At the top of the ramp, enter the corridor through the right hand door.
Continue along the corridor until you see the room number on your right. - The most accessible route to the room has a steep ramp/slope and a manual door.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Room (105)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 90cm wide.
- The bed type is double.
- The top of the mattress is 50cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 10cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- There is an emergency button on the telephone beside the bed.
Ensuite (105)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 95cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the on both sides of the toilet with a minimum width of 70cm .
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
- There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- There is a portable shower stool.
