Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level -1 - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
- The toilet door has a push button lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 200cm x 180cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 70cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the non transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, a vertical grab rail on the transfer side and a vertical rail on the left side of the wash basin.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a hand dryer and a soap dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
