  • A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
  • This entrance bypasses the set of revolving doors.

Reception

  • There is step-free level access to reception.
  • Lighting levels are good at this reception.
  • The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
  • The reception has a hearing assistance system which is not signed.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
  • There are armchairs, coffee tables and chairs without armrests available in this reception area.
  • There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).

Getting Around the Building

  • This building contains shops, restaurants, a gym, a main reception, bars and an indoor pool.
  • The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via lift and stairs.
  • The following areas have step-free level access: all facilities from the guests' rooms (via lift).

Stairs (Entrance Floor to Basement Floor)

  • The floors which are accessible by stairs are the entrance floor and the basement floor.
  • There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).
  • The stairs have handrails on both sides and are clearly marked.

Lift

  • The lift is located at the side of the main reception.
  • The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 1-9.
  • This lift is a standard lift.
  • Externally the lift has: a door with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, tactile markings, controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), Braille markings and buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings.
  • The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
