Access Guide
Resort Information
- The resort is located along Lara beach, outside of Antalya.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, shops, a spa, beach access, a playground, a sports court, a gym, a swimming pool, a water park, a fitness suite and a sauna. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
- The resort has 498 rooms available. 5 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people
- Standard rooms with adjoining rooms are available.
- There is step-free access throughout the majority of the resort from the main building.
- There are 7 restaurants.
- There are 4 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- There are shops.
- All shops have step-free access.
- All the shops have door widths over 75cm.
- Some of the shops have room to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: step-free standard toilets, toilets with some adaptations for disabled people, standard changing rooms and ambulant cubicles.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found on the basement floor next to the shops/lobby bar, on the basement floor along the rear corridor, in the grounds next to the main pool, in the grounds next to the à la carte restaurants and near the beach.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found opposite reception, on the basement floor next to the shops/lobby bar, on the basement floor along the rear corridor, in the grounds next to the main pool, in the grounds next to the à la carte restaurants and near the beach.
- The resort has the following available: vibrating alarm pillows.
- There is a medication fridge at the reception.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.
- This resort is not aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
- There is not a Safe/Quiet Place available in the resort.
- WiFi is available throughout the resort.

- There is a portable hearing assistance system located at reception.

Getting Around the Resort
- There are automatic doors leading from the basement floor of the main building to the grounds.
There is step-free level access throughout the majority of the resort. - The paths around the resort are made from: block paving and stone.
- There are bench seats along the pathways.
- All the paths are illuminated.
Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the main building.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the building.
- There is a manual door at the entrance, which opens towards you.
- The width of the door opening is 87cm.
- The door has a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
- This entrance bypasses the set of revolving doors.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- Lighting levels are good at this reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception has a hearing assistance system which is not signed.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- There are armchairs, coffee tables and chairs without armrests available in this reception area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- There is background noise.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains shops, restaurants, a gym, a main reception, bars and an indoor pool.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via lift and stairs.
- The following areas have step-free level access: all facilities from the guests' rooms (via lift).
- The following areas have step-free access via slight ramps or slopes: all facilities from the main reception area (via lift).
- There is hard flooring and low pile carpet.
- Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
- The majority of walkway widths are between 120cm and 180cm, with high colour contrast between the walls and floor.
Toilet (Reception)
- The male and female standard toilets were surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- The toilet door is push pad activated, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 76cm.
- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is not over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is lever.
- The doors into the toilets are sensor operated.
Stairs (Entrance Floor to Basement Floor)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are the entrance floor and the basement floor.
- There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).
- The stairs have handrails on both sides and are clearly marked.
Lift
- The lift is located at the side of the main reception.
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 1-9.
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: a door with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, tactile markings, controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), Braille markings and buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door opening width is 89cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 125cm x 170cm.
- There are other lifts which are similar in size at the same location.
- Internally the lift has; tactile markings, Braille markings, controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), a visual floor indicator and buttons with a low colour contrast to the surroundings.
- Only some of the lifts have external control panels which have both Braille and tactile markings.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Basement Floor - Next to the Shops, Opposite the Lobby Bar - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 86cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 130cm x 330cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 120cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush in the centre of the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Basement Floor - Near the Shops, Along the Rear Corridor - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 89cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 175cm x 240cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 60cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).

- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.

Ramp or Slope (Main Pool Area - Toilet Facilities)
- There is a ramp with a steep gradient and a width between 75cm and 150cm .
- The ramp does not have handrails.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Next to the Main Swimming Pool and Kid's Club - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
- The ramp is steep between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 81cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 222cm x 315cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Next to the Beach and A La Carte Restaurants - Right Hand Transfer)

- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 90cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
